🔍 Project Overview
This video was part of Alienware Declassified, a longform series designed to take viewers under the hood of Alienware hardware. For this installment, the focus was on the AW2721D 27" QHD gaming monitor, and I joined the project during its final phase to help bring the story to life—both on the page and behind the camera.
🎙️ My First Interview
This was my first experience conducting an on-camera interview, and I had the unique opportunity to interview Lisa Matrasko, a product marketing manager and subject-matter expert for Alienware.
Lisa was brilliant and passionate—but understandably nervous, having never been filmed in this format before. It became my responsibility to help her feel comfortable, reframe the interview in a conversational tone, and coach her through each section with empathy and encouragement.
🎤 Helping Lisa settle into the moment and trust her voice wasn’t just about getting usable soundbites—it was about capturing her genuine excitement for a product she helped bring to life.
✍️ My Contributions
Conducted the interview with Lisa Matrasko over Zoom
Helped shape narrative flow during recording by refining prompts, clarifying technical terms, and making sure Lisa’s voice stayed central
Revised and finalized the video script to ensure clarity, warmth, and alignment with product messaging
Worked with post team to support VO integration and content polish
📺 Content Highlights
Lisa walks viewers through the AW2721D’s standout features, including:
240Hz refresh rate and low latency performance
VESA DisplayHDR 600 and QHD resolution
G-SYNC Ultimate for seamless graphics
Wide-angle IPS display with 4-sided InfinityEdge design
Adjustable stand and ergonomic comfort for all play styles
Her passion for immersion, design, and future display innovation came through authentically—thanks to a supportive creative environment and thoughtful collaboration.
🧠 Personal Reflection
This project taught me more than just the specs of a monitor—it was a crash course in interviewing, human connection, and creative adaptability. Helping someone find their voice on camera—and feel confident doing it—was deeply rewarding, especially as I was quietly managing my own nerves during my first-ever interview.
